I was very pissed when I had learned that as I had just bought 4 more. At first I had used them on a Switchblade but since I wanted to build a more agile and powerful quad, they ended up on a ZMR You want to know the secret? My big quad has poor air circulation around ESCs so this is normal all 4 ESC calibrated without any problems on first try ESC settings menu is functional, it is quite easy to change motor direction or other settings with throttle OneShot interface works out of the box I will publish full review with final conclusions in a few weeks after at least few hours in the air with EMAX 30A SimonK Series ESC.
In my opinion, both ways are wrong. You want to know the secret? Firstly when the quad is armed only one of the motors start as they are meant to. But still, a guy on Youtube made a great video on how to configure them correctly or if, like me, you tried to calibrate the motors and you messed up the settings. Because I have to pay a lot a little of additional quality or performance I do not really need. That makes 30A constant current fully correct, since maximum allowed current for LR in exactly 30A. I will try to find out in the next couple of weeks while using them on my mm quadcopter. I am sure it’s the esc but i just dont know how to fix it or if its even possible. Multistar Elite and Gemfan These are amazing value.

You can easily buy some no-name for almost half a price. Minthrottle affects all of them equally, that’s why you should calibrate them through the controller so they all respond equally to the same inputs.

I never was able to get all Emax Simink to turn on exactly at the same time, no matter how many times I calibrated them, they are always units away from each other.
